I am hooked on this ball for its performance.Long, straight, low spin off the tee, higher spin from the scoring clubs, soft feel on chips and putts. All around performance is the best Bridgestone I have played and this ball is a big step up performance-wise from the last gen Tour X ball.BUT — the cover scuffs and marks up from perfectly hit irons like the days of square grooves. In tournament play, I go through three or four balls a round. For every day play, I just play an increasingly ugly looking discolored ball and then pull out a fresh one for the next round.Hit a tree, or a cart path, a bare patch or catch one thin, the ball is going straight to the shag bag like a balata-era tour ball.I have played Bridgestone Tour X and B 330 series balls for many years. I don’t want to change brands. I want the performance of this ball without it memorializing impact every time I swing.

Awesome golf balls with crazy durability (almost no scuffs after 18 holes). I switched to these from the Tour B XS to reduce spin, also gained a bit of distance and a nice higher ball flight. Quite similar to the Pro V1x but with a bit more height and a bit less spin.
