I’m in my mid 30’s and walk a lot and have wanted an electric push cart for a while now. Finally bit the bullet and got the Club Booster V2 as well as the Tether Follow Sensor (TFS – Sold Separately). $1000 later I must say overall this thing is bad ass. I’ve only played with it a few times but will share my feedback thus far:Pros: I bought this to hoping it would save my back from hurting from pushing the cart around my hilly course (about an 8 miles course). I will say I noticed a HUGE difference in my stamina and overall energy throughout the round was amazing. Normally I’d be getting fatigued by the end of the front 9 (and I’m in decent shape), but now with this thing I’m teeing off on 18 feeling like I could walk another 9. That in itself was huge for me because I can play better golf all around now and not start blowing up after hole 13 because I was getting tired. Another thing that is pretty sweet is with the tether I can hold a beer and scarf down a hotdog after I make the turn, all the while my bag just follows right behind me. Overall, for the price and the fact that it can retrofit the push cart you have, you can’t go wrong with this thing. It goes up pretty steep hills but won’t make it if there is mud obviously. Really love that I can leave the cart somewhere, go look for a ball or just go walk across the green to putt and I don’t have to walk back to the cart, I can just have it drive to the next hole. Now to the Cons: Learn from my mistakes and do not take this thing out to the course day 1 without taking some time to play around and get comfortable with it. I made the mistake of just throwing it together in the parking lot and I hadn’t realized the Tether system takes priority control over the remote, and when I first tried walking with it, the tether wasn’t level and the thing took off and I couldn’t control it and it basically almost crashed in the parking lot…total user error but this thing does have a mind of it’s own sometimes. Once you get used to it it’s easy though. I did have another problem once while it was going up a hill it couldn’t make it so I had to push but then the wheels started spinning in opposite directions and then the entire thing stopped working. I literally had to let the rest of my group go on without me, and I had to take the cart off the club booster and basically take everything apart, took out the battery and put it back together (5 painful minutes later) and it started working again. Another Con I see is that with the tether it doesn’t follow you as quickly and I’m a fast walker so I have had the magnetic tether disconnect because I was walking too fast. Also the tether follow sensor has seemed to malfunction a few times if making turns…so it seems you really just need to be extremely cautious and careful when walking with the tether.Overall, I think the $1000 was worth it as long as this thing will hold up over the years.

I’ve been pushing a golf cart for years, every Sat and Sunday morning. 6 to 7 miles of walking is great exercise. However, I noticed that when I go on travel, and occassionally enjoy a round with a caddie, I like the freedom of swinging both arms while walking. It is certainly a more natural stride. For this reason, I decided to convert my ClicGear 3.5+ into a motorized cart, and so I purchased the Alphard Club Booster V2 E-Wheels, as well as the Alphard golf swivel kit because the ClicGear 3.5+ doesn’t have a front wheel that swivels. I further upgraded the straps on the ClicGear 3.5+ to the silicon straps to make sure my bag is well secured to the cart and doesn’t slip off the cart when jostled. Bottom Line: this was money well spend and I enjoy all aspects of this purchase. One thing to note is that when you add the swivel wheels, the cart no longer folds up as small as it originally did. It’s footprint is maybe 25% bigger than before. Also, if you get a relatively large duffel bag, it will keep your car somewhat clean by capturing all of the grass clippings that remain on the wheels after a round. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up.

I play on a very hilly course, walkable , but with a bag, Iβm gassed.Iβve play 9 holes after work, and Iβve played about 20 9βs since I got this.Itβs terrific, no problems going down steep hills and going up , rarely, it needs a slight push.Carries my cart bag & a few beers or water without issue.I bought the tether system also, itβs ok, but sometimes sways behind you. I am using the remote exclusively now.Battery life on a single charge? 9 no problem , 18 not an issue , around the 25-26 hole it got squirrelly and then died on 27.Doesnβt have a huge footprint storage wise.I wish I had done more research on the carts, the tourtek I use doesnβt fold up well, but serves its purpose on the course .If you want to walk more , but hate carrying all your equipment like a Sherpa , get this you wonβt regret it .(Also there is a Facebook group that supports this product and they have hacks and such to make it more useful, even tho , itβs quite perfect as it is)

For a golfer, I would say this is a MUST HAVE ITEM!Waking 50 rounds will pay the wheels! I had to buy compatible push cart from bagboy which costed adddtional $250.This wheel is self explainable! Easy to install, easy to use, makes your golf round ready to play!Remote & backup rear wheels come with the package. In case Bluetooth is connectable with cell phone to control when remote is misplaced.6 speed will match the pace of walking. It wonβt flop easily because the backup rear wheels will prevent it from happening. When ran 18 holes, 2-3 light indicators, out of 5, were still available which means 36 holes can be possibly ran.I love this wheels which lead me into a new golf world!

Got tired of pushing my clic geat cart. A member at our club recommended this. Great Recommendation. It was easy to assemble and attached to my existing push cart. Battery is easy to put in and take out. Works as advertised. Only wish would be the battery would last for 36 holes. Otherwise all good.
