   UPDATE: Interesting anecdote about this club: Phil Mickelson, love or hate him, helped innovate the micro grooves within the grooves on this club. They’re angled such that, when you open the face up, which you’ll need to do sometimes, the micro grooves are square to the target which puts less side spin on the strike. Kinda cool!This club, when you first put it in play, will both save you 2 strokes and cost you 2 strokes, at least until you figure out what it can and cannot do. It WILL cooperate if you play it back in your stance and minimize your wrist hinge. It will fight back if you try to hit it with a full swing. It’s awesome if/when you do pull off that mile high flop that sails over the bunker and lands like a butterfly, but you’d better practice that before just whipping it out during a competitive round.    My son absolutely loves this club. His fire to play is back. He says ” he likes the grip, the full face groves, and the control is far superior to his last wedge. Also hadn’t had that control since pingzing2. That’s a hella statement.
