Kind of pricey considering all it is 2 sticks and plastic string. However, it is an effective putting training aid. I keep it in my bag to use before a round.

Cheap, easy to use. I love the elastic string, it allows you to pull it out a little if needed. Be warned though, if you pull it too tight, the sticks will slowly start to tit towards each other. If you want those extra couple inches, I recommend sticking the ends in at slight angles into the green away from each other so they’ll naturally come back together evenly.

Iβve been sidelined from swinging the golf club for the last couple of weeks, so I decided to break out a couple of training aids to help me improve my putting. One is the Shaun Webb putting mirror (highly recommended) and the other is the go sports down the line putting string and sticks. You might be able to make something that kind of works for less money, but I donβt think you could do it for much cheaper and I donβt think it would be as good a quality as this product. Iβve really enjoyed using it and sets up quickly to help me groove a quality putting stoke. I like to use an alignment line on my ball to ensure Iβm aiming right where I think I am, but I donβt like to bend down on every single putt when Iβm practicing. This allows me to quickly put it in the correct spot and helps train my brain to see the correct line. The line used is a neon green line that stands out and the sticks are heavy duty. Overall, great product and well worth the money.

Sure you can get a couple of sticks and tie a random rope to them and have it do almost the same thing here. However, this putting guide is made of high quality material and even the carrying case is nicely made. Stays very compact when you wrap things up and put them in the carrying case. Watch Youtube videos if you don’t know how to use a putting string. It has certainly helped me by providing instant feedback on my eye line and stroke path.
