If you need a new sand wedge, get this one. Don’t even bother with others, this is the best. The spin is incredible, even on open faced shots. The look and feel are unmatched, and the sound it makes when you hit a nice crisp pitch shot is what dreams are made of. RTX wedges are, in my opinion, the best hands down. Carry a lower bounce club for tight lines, but you’ll be happy with this one.

I found this club to be terrific around the greens for placing spin on short chips or hitting high flops. Cleveland has never disappointed me in all the years I have played golf. I will say I bought this club because I broke my Calloway X20 sand wedge on the back of a bunker one day and can now say I am glad I did! π

The Good:-Fantastic feel off the face-Mid bounce gives me good bounce action out of the bunkers-Look inspires confidence at address-Grooves give good spin action from the fairwayThe Bad:-Black coating comes off but I like the worn lookThe Bottom Line:This Cleveland RTX-3 sand wedge is the prior years model but it is a great wedge especially for this price. I was looking to replace my old sand wedge and didnβt want to spend a lot so I got this in the mid bounce. The sand wedge has great feel off the face in the bunkers and on full wedge shots. The grooves provide good action in the green and my balls stop pretty well. The only downside is that the Black coating comes off so the club will look worn but I like the look. Overall I would highly recommend this Cleveland RTX-3 sand wedge.

Exactly what I was looking for and couldnβt find local. To those that commented about the finish wearing, it does, thatβs what it is designed to do. If it wore after one range sesh then you must have hit 100+ balls with just that club, or itβs time to find a new range… Overall this is a great club for solid hitters, remember itβs a blade, if you want forgiveness for really bad shots look at cavity back wedges.

I have owned a lot of golf clubs. These RTX 3’s are exactly like the RTX 4’s for all intents and purposes. I hit both recently at a club fitting and saw no difference. For around $79, these are a lot of bang for your buck. I retired vokeys for these as the grooves were starting to get smashed in. No regrets. For half the price, the value on these is through the roof.

I always just used the base clubs in my sets, lowest being the Gap wedge. Which I can hit 110 yds approx. once i received this wedge I noticed immediate improvement within 70 yards. And obviously increased spin. It is in my opinion more difficult to make a solid hit over my gap wedge, but Iβm able to stick my approaches within 5 feet a lot more consistently. Just had to add a 3inch extension to it to match my current set, But that only cost me like $20 with a new grip.

This is the first wedge I’ve ever bought new. It has great weight and balance. The grooves grip excellently. Tons of bite on full shots and enough stopping power on shorter pitches. The black finish tends to come off over time, but it still looks cool to me. I would buy it again.

Great club, and action, but would like less bounce option for use as a 52Β° gap wedge.
