Just switched to this from the BR-D4 bag.Sure, this Tour version is that pseudo-bulk feel like a premium Tour type bag is supposed to have, but it has one less pocket on the outside! The D4 had an extra side slot pocket on the outside of the large one that was useful. The large pocket of this Tour one isnβt really that large, as itβs not all the way down the side, itβs almost ΒΎ of the length of the D4, and, the umbrella inner-sleeve blocks the inside of the large pocket!! Weird. The low pocket where you put your name, is also smaller.I do like the velour valuables pocket has been moved to the low left side, away from prying eyes.I hope the outside covers are stain-proof and a bit more water-resistant, a bit more weather resistant than the previous one, as I put that one through its paces and was totally weather fades after less than 2 years, but I do walk a lot, minimum 3 rounds a week and 4 or 5 more days out on the range in the sun, so Iβm praying this one is a bit more weather resistant.I thought it would be a better bag, to be honest. But I just bought it without checking it out first. Iβll keep it, as I desperately needed a bag as the zippers broke in two places on my last one.I also donβt like the way the legs open up too wide.So itβs just ok.

The straps are very comfortable and easily removable for a cart, was worried about my club grips getting tangled as in previous reviews, but Iβve not had that issue even with my oversized putter grip. The bag is very well made and definitely worth it.

I purchased the Mizuno Tour 6 way stand bag. No complaints on the looks of this bag. It looks really good, however, the majority of the pockets are not useful. The pocket for your valuables is hard to access. It is located on the bottom left side of the bag next to the insulated cooler pocket. When my hydro flask is in the insulated cooler pocket, you cannot open the pocket for your valuables. Even when my hydro flask is not in, the pocket is so narrow that getting your hand in is difficult. There are three pockets at the base of the bag: the top pocket has a magnet to open and close the flap. This is a good feature. It is easy to open and close, and the depth of the pocket is good. The next pocket is not functionable. The depth of the pocket is shallow and it is hard getting your hand inside. I tried using if for my range finder, but found it difficult to get the range finder out. Next I put my tees and pencils in there. Again, it’s difficult to get my hand in. The bottom pocket is for golf balls. The depth of the pocket is good, but the middle pocket’s sack protrudes into this bottom pocket, making it cumbersome to reach the golf balls. This flap is removable, but I don’t think this is a good feature since if you’re not careful, you can accidently rip the flap out rendering this pocket useless forever! The upper right side pocket I now use for my valuables. (wallet, keys, watch, cell phone). The depth of the pocket is good, but again the opening is narrow, hard to get my hand in. The biggest pocket is deceivingly large. I can place my other two hydro flasks in this area, as well as other items. The straps on this bag is not good for a person of my size. The padding is hard, but what’s worse is the width of the two shoulder pads. I am of average size, 5′ 9″, weighing 165lbs. The straps rests on the tips of my shoulder blades, very uncomfortable. There is no way to adjust the strap to narrow the gap. Although I use a push cart while playing, I do go to the driving range frequently, and it is uncomfortable when carrying my bag to and from my car. Lastly, there are two small bungee type cords to secure the kick stand to the bag when riding in a cart or using a push cart. It is hard to pull these tabs out and over the bottom of the kick stand legs. I have to lay the bag flat in my car’s trunk to do this. If the bag is standing up, it is very difficult to pull the tabs out and over the kick stand leg.

This is a great carry bag. The pockets are functional and adequate. Although, Iβm a little leery of the magnetic valuables pocket. I find myself checking to make sure nothing has fallen out when I get to the greens. Hey Mizuno why not put a zipper on it? I bought a new set of Mizuno clubs and was glad to find a matching name brand bag. Overall, Iβd buy it again.
