This 4 wheeled push cart rolls better over uneven surfaces.than a 3 wheeled card. When the front wheel hits a hole, the opposite wheel keep the cart level. Your golf bag feels balanced and sits between to front wheel, has a low center gravity that make hard to tip over. The 2 larger rear wheels make it roll easy and the cart seams lighter than it is. Small problem, cart straps don’t keep your golf bag from twisting. I solved by put 3/4″ foam strips w/zip ties on the cart where the bottom of you golf bag sits on the cart.

Love the product, but after spending $200.00 plus dollars, a damaged strap is discovered as you’re going out to use it for the first time.As a follow up, I received a new replacement, and the product also had some damage….the boxes are way to big for the product. I am returning the replacement, but I was able to remove the damaged strap from the first one and swap this out from the replacement. I now have a functioning one, and I am returning the replacement. I’m satisfied, and I can only hope that this was an acceptable way of getting a complete and non-damaged cart.

I recently received this in the mail and have done 2 rounds of golf with it. On the course, it rides very smooth and, from what I remember with my old 3 wheel pushcart, is a much better experience. It has enough adjust-ability with the position of the handlebars to fit my needs well (I am 6ft 1in and have to use the most up-right position). Some cons though:- The strap that goes on the bottom the bag is shorter than it needs to be. I’m use a walking bag on this cart and it barely has enough slack to get around the bottom of the bag. You might need to jerryrig something that extends this travel of the straps if you are going to use a cart/staff bag on this cart.- Hard foam wheels. So far, the cart runs ultra smooth and is great. However I do worry down the road about the wheels. I really wish the wheels were like most 3 wheel carts you see where they are an actual inflatable wheel. Hopefully the hard foam wheels are easy to replace in the future…- This is an issue with pretty much every push cart regardless of how many wheels it has; it is a pain to fold up and unfold. It takes me around 5 minutes when arriving at the golf course to get everything done (getting my bag out, unfolding the cart, fastening the bag to the cart, getting golf shoes on, ext).Overall, I really do enjoy this product. I’m sold on the 4 wheel vs 3 wheel debate now; the 4 wheel carts just ride so much smoother. I do however worry about the future though with the wheel wearing down/getting damaged and the bottom strap snapping off since it has too little travel for almost every golf bag. Do I think it’s worth +$300 though? Not really. I don’t think any pushcart is worth more than say $200 but given the reality of the current times (during COVID where stock of literally all golf push carts are extremely low), I’m glad I was able to get one at all.

Ridiculous that Sun Mountain can’t make a cart to fit their own bags properly. I have C130 bag that when seated rubs and drags on the wheels and wears the bag. It also doesn’t attach easily with the top of the bag, having to jostle the strap under the front bag, partially blocking other areas you want to get at. The elastic strap at the bottom already broke from rubbing against the bag/wheel after one week. Poorly designed. And really..why advertise that you have multiple colors when only black is available. Disappointed to say the least. Probably the last Sun Mountain product I will ever buy and I have purchased several bags and carts over the years. I also had to mprovise a lift to avoid having the bag rub on wheels..looks bad. There is a rest for bottom of bag to sit on but if used, the bag will rub…so you have to very carefully lift bag and try to find proper position and force the bag into upper arms to avoid that rubbing. Pain in the arse. And, the water bottle holder pops off every time it’s folded or unfolded..sure that’s going to break soon, too. No instructions for how to properly seat the bag either.

I bought this to replace an older two-wheel pull cart. It did seem pretty monsterous compared to the two-wheeler, but it is not as big as other carts I’ve seen (which is a plus). I have a small-ish trunk and this fits easily when folded. Build quality seems to be very good, and I am hoping this lasts for many years. It’s super easy to push, and I’ve had no problems with alignment or bag fitting. I love the magnetic catch on the compartment, and the two soft bag compartments are perfect sizes for my range finder, club covers, jacket, etc. The umbrella holder does the job as expected. My bag does slightly twist over the course of a round, but that is only a minor quibble. I love this cart and would absolutely recommend it.

Researched many different push carts before settling on the Pathfinder 4.Have used it for several rounds so far and love it.Easy to expand and collapse, and takes up very little space in vehicle.Holds full-size stand bag with no issues. Adjustable bag bungee straps work well.Has thoughtfully-placed spots and holders for tees, balls, scorecard, pencil, mobile phone, water bottle, umbrella, as well as an open mesh pocket and a pouch-like velour-lined pocket.Includes a bracket for Sun Mountain seat (separate purchase).Rolls over all types of golf course terrain easily and tracks true.Hand brake works well to hold cart in place when stopped on an incline.Four wheels promotes stability.Very satisfied with my choice.

Good quality solid construction, Dry heavy and not as easy to fold as my old Sun Mountsin.Latch for handle angle keeps slipping out of position Really have to crank down on tension.Old cart was more user friendly, not as well built but it did the job,

Only downside: itβs hard to push through the rough grass.
