I got this along with the rest of the puttout stuff Amazon suggests as a christmas gift for a friend this year and… yes this thing will absolutely rank among the best gifts you can ever give someone who loves golf. It’s very very difficult to actually get the ball to stick in the hole, which is the whole point of it. It’s the funnest gift ever if you are just hanging out with friends. You need the putting carpet that goes with it for sure. The gates that Amazon will also suggest with this purchase are fantastic too. Just hanging around putting and watching football has changed me and my friends’ winter/lockdown in 2020. Be sure you have extra putters so everyone can play if you are just hanging out. It is so challenging that people will be 200 tries in and STILL be wanting to finally get it in the hole. It’s that fun.

Works quite well. Been using it inside, and I’m looking forward to using it on the outdoor practice green. It’s actually helped me learn to not move my head or eyes after hitting the putt…a habit that usually leads to bad putts. So I just putt, keep my head down, and wait for the ball to come back. Never even look up at the hole. My putting has improved significantly. Remember, it will return the ball the distance that the ball would have gone past the hole. So if you hit it about the equivalent of about 18 inches past the hole, it will only roll back that distance. Which gives you good feedback on your distance. So if you are sinking 6-foot putts at the right speed here, it will not return all the way to you. Not a complaint. Just a reminder to folks on how it works. It also gives good feedback on slightly off shots….if you hit the left side of the “hole”, it will roll up and roll back toward the right, so you even get good feedback if you don’t hit the hole directly in the center. I’m using this along with PuttDots on my putter…another great training aid that helps ensure you hit the ball squarely.

This is a great training tool – I bought it during Covid while working from home. I’ve brought it into the office and use it almost every day mostly because it’s fun to try and make putts. Buyer beware: you will get frustrated when you think a putt should have stayed in the hole and is rejected back to your feat, but that frustration will likely keep you coming back!

Well worth the price and will definitely improve your putting stroke but you need to commit to consistent use. I have 2 – one stays in the bag for use on the practice green – much easier to practice from different angles as opposed to where the holes are cut for that day. The other stays at home for practice on carpet when itβs too cold, too hot or too wet to go to the course. Get/read a copy of Rotellaβs βPutting Out of Your Mindβ and youβll be all set.

I bought this to help me with the worst part of my game; Putting. I have used other putting mats and aids but I felt those didn’t really help me with pace control. This mat however, has done wonders for my short game as it requires a smooth roll and pace to stop on the little target. Now even on long putts that I miss, I’m right near the hole for an easy tap in instead of yet another 3 putt hole.

This little putting aide really does what it says it does. If you hit it too hard it won’t return the ball. I took it to the course and used it on the practice green to get feedback on the green speed. I started shooting in the eighties rather than the low nineties within a week of using it. Awesome gift for a golfer of any handicap.

Sturdy, seamless, functional. Exactly how I imagined it. Ball returns right back on misses too

This should be categorized as a Schedule 1 drug. It’s really addictive and could lead to a divorce or loss of a job. All jokes aside, this handy little device is a great training aid. It does what it’s supposed to which is improve your putting. I’ve been using it for a week now and my short putt (5′ and below) is nearly 100%. I’ve been averaging around 100 practice putts a day from 3′ to 6′. It gives you immediate feedback and really helps you control the speed and accuracy of your putts. I’m looking forward to adding the Perfect Putt Putting Green to complement this device. Remember though-golf is supposed to be fun!
