I received the clubs in a reasonable amount of time. They were extremely well packaged. The sizes and lengths of the clubs were accurate to what was advertised. The 5-club had a large glob of very sticky, glue-like substance on the back of the club head. The 4- club had a much smaller amount. I had to use WD-40 to clean it off because it was so sticky. I didn’t think much about it because I thought it was just something that happened when the clubs were packaged for shipping. I don’t golf very often, so it was over a month before I used the clubs again. Those two club heads were sticky and very difficult to get clean. There seemed to be glue leaking out from behind the insignia on the reverse of the club heads.I was past the “return by” date, but I contacted the company anyway. They promptly replied and asked me to send photos of the club heads. I complied and they said they would replace those two clubs with clubs with a different colored insignia (they were out of the original color). That was ok with me and about a week later I received the new (not sticky!) clubs.I like the clubs. The company promptly replaced the defective clubs without too much effort on my part.I would really like to give a rating of 4.5 stars because of the inconvenience caused by the factory defect, but the service was great.

I just got these irons several days ago and have only played two rounds of 18 holes but these irons have revolutionized my attitude toward golf. I am 75 but still working, so I don’t play often, certainly not often enough to learn mine different swings with normal clubs. But with clubs all the same length, every shot is treated the same, the same address, the same ball position, and the same swing. So a single round of golf is like 70 practices of the same motion. Club selection is all about distance and now that my swing is more consistent, my shots are more accurate and have more distance. Golf is now fun again. If you want to enjoy golf and not see it as a diabolical puzzle, then $300 to is an amazing value. When you first start using them, be patient. Treat every stroke like a six iron and just repeat it every stroke and let the club head determine the height and distance, not the swing. Wow. My second round with the clubs was like a revelation – I can actually do this! And this is not just for weekend golfers; even some pros are switching to same length irons, largely for the same reason – consistency and accuracy.

These clubs have allowed me to straighten out my game. It has taken me a few rounds to get used to them but they have helped my game considerably. They have easily allowed me to take 8-10 strokes off my score. However, my game has shortened with these by probably 2 clubs. I used to hit a 9 iron 145, now I am using a 7 iron (I have a fairly slow swing. About 90 mph with a driver). But the wedges have let me dial in my green game nicely. The PW is right on at 110 yards, A wedge is right at 100 yards and SW is dialed in at 75 yards. There is plenty of loft with these to land the ball on the green and have them stick. The shorter distance with the clubs is fine once I adjusted because I would much rather have a controlled, straight and short shot vs a long and erratic one. Great clubs for the money.

I struggled as a High-Handicapper who couldn’t consistently strike the ball well. After coming close to quitting golf several times due to the frustration, I stumbled upon the “single-length” philosophy and it resonated – learn one swing for all your irons. The problem was that as someone who had one foot out the door on the game of golf, I was unwilling to spend big bucks on a whole new set of clubs.Enter the Mazel irons. I figured at $300, it was worth a shot – if they worked and my game improved, I’d be thrilled. If they didn’t, at least I didn’t spend a fortune. All I can say is, “Wow!”. After just a few months of practice on the range and several rounds, I’ve rediscovered my love of golf and am now consistently shooting in the low 90s (where I used to struggle to break 110). My expectation now is to break 90 and get into mid-80s range within the next few months. In short, the single-length philosophy is a no-brainer for any high-handicapper and / or anyone new to the game.As for the clubs themselves, Mazel has done a phenomenal job of putting together a full quality set at an unbelievable price. I expected them to feel and look “cheap”. They don’t – they have the look of premium clubs and feel absolutely great. Before I bought them, I had expected to “upgrade” to Cobras if these Mazels validated my hope for single-length irons. Now, I’m perfectly comfortable hanging on to these for the long-haul.If you’re on the fence about the single-length philosophy, these are a perfect way to take a chance without it setting you back an arm and a leg.

the clubs are nice they swing pretty much the same with each. The first two back to back good 4 iron shots.

They were as advertised, they were more for women.

The clubs arrived packaged well and they seam to be good clubs for the price.

I love the way the clubs feel and hit, However the insert on my 6 Iron has fallen out at some point in the round of golf (The first time I used it). So the total satisfaction verdict is still out depending on how prompt they are about rectifying this problem
