It doesn’t have the feel of a Pro V1, but it doesn’t have the hefty price tag either. A good solid ball ( no pun intended ) and value for the mid-high handicapper who might lose a ball or two during the round.

Just played a round with Titleist Velocity and Wilson Triad, alternating golf balls on each hole. While it is only one round, and the Velocity performs as advertised, I left believing that the Triad ball was a better fit for me. The Velocity ball didnt feel as soft as I prefer, and launch angle was lower than I expected.

Great valued ball. With colder temperatures in Indiana, these Velocity balls work very well. The bright green color helps me to find them and the two-piece construction allows better compression for my slower swing speeds. I’m a bogey-golfer and these fit the bill Very well.

I bought a few dozen orange and white Titleist Velocity Golf Balls about Apr 2022 (2022 ball) and paid about $28 a box. I love these balls for their durability and distance performance, however, I just checked prices and they have jumped to $44-$60 depending on color and I assume this is a 2022 ball. They seem to have a limited supply of the 2021 balls at $29. Love this ball, but I would not pay a premium price for it and I’m reluctant to buy a 2021 ball that’s been sitting for over a year. If you can find a 2022 Velocity Ball for less than $30 a dozen, I highly recommend it. If not, Callaway softs are great balls. Cheers…Mr 4-Putt

I am an avid Pro V1 player but I wanted to have a distance ball for the colder months in North Fl. These fit the bill. They go and go. Plenty of stopping power for me. Short game and putting were very solid as well. The matte orange is easy to track in the air and find if you stray off the short stuff. Excellent balls.

I struggle with my consistency. Depending on course, conditions and more importantly my mindset I can shoot anywhere from the mid 70s to mid 90s. I’ve tried several premium balls (chrome soft, pro v1, tp5). Seems trivial but the last thing I need to worry about while standing over a shot is if I’m going to lose $4 if I dump it in the water. Not a good swing thought. I’ve been using the Titleist Velocity balls for about 6 months now. What I like:Good distance – Titleist description says full throttle distance, my experience is they are consistently as long as the premium balls mentioned aboveLess spin – When I do slice or hook a drive I’ll end up in the rough as opposed to the woods or rough on another holePrice – They are Titleist so you know you are getting a quality product. When standing over a $2.50 ball I tend to focus on hitting the shot rather than how much I’m going to lose if I shank it.What I don’t likeDurability – I’ve made it through entire rounds before playing a single ball, but more times than not I end up going through 2-3 per round. If I catch a cart path with a shot or play several hard wedge shots the cover will scuff more easily than others I’ve played
