   My 5 year old grandson loves golf and I felt this would be fun for him. He loves raking the sand and “putting” the ball. It is a little messy and should be placed on a large tray to contain the sand. Overall I think the toy is worth it.

   It’s amazing how many grown ups just want to sit in my office and play with this. Not only is the rock/sand garden relaxing – adding in the gold aspect really gets people’s attention. Now if I could only figure out how to get them to listen to what I’m saying….

   We don’t love it as much as we’d hoped – the flag and parts seem very cheap and not good quality – I would look for a nicer one if I had known. For the price it is a mediocre desk decoration for golf lovers.

   We haven’t opened it yet since its for my bf’s office but he loved the surprise, he loves golfing! I honestly can’t till Monday so he can set it up already! I couldn’t find the measurements before ordering it but idk if the pic might give you an idea…its perfect for his work desk!

   I bought this for my boss at work as a late Christmas gift. He’s an avid golfer. His job is pretty stressful and he asked me once what I do for stress relief. When I saw this – I had to get it for him. At first, he got a good chuckle out of it – thought it was a bit corny – then, I hear this shuffling noise behind me (his office is behind my desk) and I look back; it’s him settling the sand after raking around in it for a while. Now, when he comes into the office, the first thing he does is rake around the sand for a bit before diving into his inbox.I was pretty impressed with the product. The box itself is nicely made (not a cheaply constructed wood box). The rake and golf putter were both metal – that was nice. The sand is pure and real sand (not white silica sand). It looks like it came straight from one of our cleanest beaches. He loved the fact that it came with two golf balls. He didn’t realize (until I told him) that the flag came out of the hole so he could really putt the ball into the hole. The two river rocks are a cute touch. I asked him if he wanted more, he said, “No, it’ll get in the way of my raking.” LOLMy only “complaint” would be if the manufacturer could be just a bit more conscientious of the felt lining up on the wood (for the green), and the felt on the insert lining up on the insert that holds the flag pole.I bought the Normandy Beach Executive Sandbox for my boyfriend – another man who thought this was “cheesy” at first – until I caught him playing around with it a little bit every day. He was pretty impressed with the quality of the product as well – and the tank was die-cast metal. The rake in his sandbox was a cheesy tiny plastic claw, I wasn’t happy about that considering what my boss’s sandbox had in it. Perhaps that’s because the Tank was high quality so they had to balance out the cost of materials. I’d leave that Sandbox a product review, but it doesn’t give me that option on that purchase.
